Lots of fixies – Part 2

Hit here! In this new update I focusing on fixies and optimization. True, every update contains optimizations, but this update focuses ONLY on fixies and optimizations. My goal to make Poly Story run and look better!

Because Poly Story got new things, new additions, now an „only fixies” update is needed.

New

-Main menu background revamp

 

Fixies/ Little additions

 

Arcade mode

-Continued optimization

-Fixed some floating items

-Fixed (changed) some object’s collider (from box collider to mesh collider)

-Changed some rock’s size in forests

-Added more moveable objects

-Added more objects which supports the new water system (see the 0.3.1. changelog for more information)

-removed one crate’s capsule collider (coastal area)

-Added more cactuses tot he desert

-fixed a palm’s leaves’s color to a more realistic

-Added more rocks + fixed a rock’s size

 

Main menu

-Revamped the main menu:

       -new live background (forest theme)

       -Changed the daytime

 

 -Added little info texts (like Discrod, itch.io)

-very little optimization (framerate)

 

 

Sandbox mode

-very little optimization (framerate)

-Added a new thing on map (now its only a default thing and non-removable): A lake! This new default item on map uses the new water system.

-Made some item to support the new water system.

 

 

 

Treasure hunting mode

-Continued optimization

-Fixed some object’s position

-Changed a rock’s size to a bigger

-Fixed some floating items

-removed a texture-bugged object

-Added some more objects (like trees, rock, etc.) to the edge of the map

 

Playground mode

-Little optimization

-Changed the starting area’s wall to colored glass material

-Fixed a glass’s size a little bit

-Added more respawn triggers

 

Rolepaly mode

-Little optimization (framerate)

-Fixed lots of floating objects

-Changed a tree’s color to a more realistic

-Changed some rock’s size to a bigger (to make the map looking better)

-Fixed (changed) some object’s collider (from box collider to mesh collider) (this means now you can go near to these objects)

-Changed the ocean’s material to a glassy material

-Added more cactuse

-Added more stairs to the bay area (to avoid player get stuck underwater)

-Added more rocks tot he bay area (to avoid  bugs (possible player go under map))

-Fixed the pause menu’s „Restart level” button (this button doesnt worked)

-Added the new water system (all the waters (bay & ocean) uses now the new water)

-Fixed some rock’s size (edge of the ocean)
