0.3.0. - Optimizations,map revamp & more!


0.3.0. changelog

 

New

-Optimization (WIP): I started working on some „deeper” optimization, like optimizing sounds to use less space and RAM. Now its very little, so you wont see any changes, but its started, and I hope, this kind of optimization will be bigger and bigger update by update!

This optimization is started with:

  -Optimized a sound file

  -Optimized some textures

 

-As always, I working on optimizing the 3D objects as well. (These optimizations are helps Poly Story to use less RAM and space too.9

-Added ’Quit game’ button, wich was highly requested (In main menu)

-The ’Treasure hunting mode’ got a refreshing, revamping: lots of fixies, additions and optimalization.

 

 

Fixies/ Little additions

 

 

Arcade mode

-Fixed some bugged objects on map

 

Main menu

-Added ’Quit game’ button.

 

 

Treasure hunting mode

-Fixed the help texts

-Fixed the help text’s position on screen

-Improved the map: there are less empty areas, more vegetations

-So many floating, bugged item has been fixed

-optimalization (little bit better framerate)

-Changed the oceans’s color to a more realistic.

-Changed the little pond’s color to a more realistic.

-Changed lots of colliders: from boksz collider to mesh collider

-deleted some dublicated items on each other

 

 

Western mode

-Continued revamping/improving of the map:

      -More NPCs

      -Fixies (items, interior, etc.)

      -Smaller terrain (map’s edge (there was too much empty area))

-Little optimization (framerate)

 

 

Gamemode selection menu

-Fixed missing background

 

Sandbox mode

-Changed a little bit the sun light’s color
