Hello guys! Poly Story doesnt got really big major updates few moths ago. There was fixies, and little details added. Of course, Roleplay added, but after it, there was only fixies. But in today’s major update the game gets huge things!

In this update I Adds the new NPC interaction system. Also I focusing on Western mode, Roleplay mode and some fixies too.

Western mode get a huge revamp, Roleplay mode get fixies. As always, there are little additions, like new animations.  Also I want to make this game more stable, enjoyable! Enjoy! 😊

 

 

New

-NPC Interaction System (In Arcade mode only!)

-Western mode revamp and extension

-New working NPCs (NPCs got new animations)

-New role changer menu for Roleplay mode

-Lots of fixies, little improvements

 

NPC Interaction System

This new system is in the game now! What is? Why?

  What is?

  This is a new system wich allows player to contact, interact with NPCs by pop up UI elements. There are funny sentences, words too in this interacting system. Now you can ask simple questions. But later, this system will be very important.

  Why?

 Firstly, this is a fun, and interesting feature.

 Secondly, I planning to add a Stroy mode to Poly Story soon. Yes, its relatively close. I can say the NPC Interaction System is one of the first steps to a big story mode with assignmets! Later, these systems (NPC interaction, little assignments) will be part of the story mode, and when I starting working on story mode, it will be easier for me, because I wont need to do a new system,just use the things, wich are already in.. I looking forward to!

Fixies/ Little additions

 

Playground mode

-Fixed color-bug

 

Arcade mode

-Fixed UI bug (now thew help text looks far better)

-Disabled Depth of Field

-Added working NPCs (Gardan works, tree cutting, etc.)

-Readedd(fixed) the missing point from the screen (grey point)

-Fixed the freezed screen on start (had to press M or H)

-Removed the third person camera (NPC system works with FPS)

-Some little fixies

-Fixed the doors where you couldnt get in house (If you wanted to get in without destroying the house) in all houses!

-Added some new interiors, new interior objects (Like added floor to some houses, and some object with sounds too!)

-Fixed interiors (fixed old items position)

-Fixed the column’s white color (changed itt o accent stone color)

-Added new pickable items (for new interiors)

-Fixed the missing water in the little bay

-Added some new rocks

-Changed one of the apple sellers to a tool and weapon seller

-Fixed rocks and removed rocks

 

 

Roleplay mode

 

-Added new role selection menu (now only with one role). With this new menu the level is loading faster and smoother.

-Made some more bushes, little trees interactable. This means, when the character collisioning with these items, there will be bush sound.

-Added new garden for a house

-Added new NPC with new ’gathering’ animation in the new garden.

-Changed the old idle animation to new on some NPCs

-Disabled AI with cart (this AI was buggy)

-Optimized the perfomance (Little optimization, but I optimizing perfomance update by update)

 

 

Western mode

 

-Map extension (Bigger map, added a new, second town, added more vegetations, more details)

-Added new NPCs (These New NPCs have new coloured cloths)

-Fixies to the help texts for better looking (UI)

-NPCs with new animation(s) added (New idle animation)

 

 

Treasure hunting mode

 

-Fixed some bugged, floating vegetations

-Changed some vegetation’s collider (from Box to Mesh)

-Removed some vegetations wich had no color

-Set some vegetations to ’Static’ (Wich is a kind of optimisation, but not really big)
